Better Water-Holding Capacity
The ability of soil to hold water is called water-holding capacity. For sandy soil, water tends to seep in faster. Soil aggregates are added in the form of fertilizer to remedy this. However, it is noteworthy that managing fertilizers are a must for clayey soil because we would want to trap more water on the surface, won’t we?
